Brief overview:
As part of our ongoing development within improvements training, we have developed some new bite size content. These workshops are available to all staff across the trust, including leaders, managers, team members and teams as a whole.
Quality Improvement (Q.I) bite size Process mapping. Teaches candidates how to capture work as completed and create process flow charts. With the purpose of applying the eight wastes of Lean and eliminating these wastes to streamline processes.
We expand on mapping to include SIPOC mapping, which adopts methods utilising systems thinking. Allowing candidates to capture the critical Suppliers, Inputs, Outputs and Customers that surround their processes.
Candidates will finish by looking at the three states of mapping and learning how these fit throughout the duration of an improvement project.
By the end of the session, you will have gained an understanding of the following concepts:
- Process mapping
- Waste elimination
- VA and NVA process steps
- SIPOC mapping
- States of mapping
We want all our delegates to get the very best from their learning experience. If you have any additional needs that we need to be aware of that will help you to have a more enjoyable day then please let us know in confidence. We can then adapt our resources and activities to support you.
