Brief Overview:
This course introduces you to the skills needed to accurately reference resources in your academic writing. It is an essential skill needed for those completing academic assignments or for publication.
Key learning outcomes:
- Identify Harvard referencing and the need for referencing
- Use a variety of referencing styles
- Demonstrate how to cite text
- Structure a reference correctly
- Build a reference list
Target audience:
Any South Tees staff that are new to academic writing or would like a refresher course.
If you are a non-medical registrant who is eligible for Continual Professional Development (CPD) funding this course will account as part of your annual allowance for CPD funding.
