Course overview
This session aims to reduce the fears of IMG women regarding surgical training by current IMG women in specialty training who have secured training posts with either core training or without it by completing alternate competencies. It will highlight the support available for women in training.

Encouragement by current IMG women in surgical specialty training
Guidance about achieving ST number by alternate competencies (especially for those with >18months surgical experience post foundation)
