Course Overview:
Have you already attended Human Factors training, and are keen to know more about its role in healthcare?
In this 2-hour session, we will review basic Human Factors content, before moving onto actively applying Human Factors considerations to healthcare, with a particular focus on patient safety outcomes. We will also discuss team-working and communication. These sessions are facilitated by a clinical staff member, up to consultant level.
Learning Objectives:
- Review basic Human Factors concepts
- Build on previous knowledge, with a focus on patient safety
- Discuss good/bad team-working and its impact on patient care
Target Audience:
All staff- medical and non-medical. Prior basic Human Factors training required.
