Brief overview:
Simulation training is a mandatory part of the internal medicine training curriculum for junior doctors. The following sessions are planned:
- Acute medical emergencies – simulation of common and important acute medical emergencies focusing on recognition and management of unstable patients, clinical decision making and communication skills.
- Registrar-ready course – for more experienced trainees with a focus on non-technical skills and management of more complex clinical problems.
Palliative care – management of common problems around end-of-life care. This has been developed by the regional palliative care team.

This event is for IMT 1-3 Doctors
Certification
All attendees will receive a certificate for attendance upon completion of the feedback survey sent out after the session.
