Overview

Have you ever tried to make a cup of tea in someone else’s house and found it difficult to do?  In this session you will be introduced to the concept of non-technical skills and how you can use these to improve your approach to your job and your interactions with your colleagues. This session is open to anyone in the Trust and there are no pre-course requirements

Aim

To give a basic understanding of Human Factors and non-technical skills

Target Audience

All staff- medical and non-medical.

Content

Review of fundamental concepts, communication workshop, techniques for effective team-working, an understanding of how the environment in which we work directly impacts the effectiveness/efficiency of our work.

Certification

Once candidates have completed this course, will be provided with resources from the session and a certificate.
