Course Overview
The aim of the session is to provide the tools and training to enable you to complete a suitable and sufficient risk assessment which will comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) (HASWA). To be aware and know where to locate the Trust policies with regards to Health and Safety, and to understand the Trust’s HS24 system of annual audits.
Learning Objectives
- Understand the Health and Safety at Work Act – roles and responsibilities
- Understand the process for completing a Risk Assessment
- Understand Mitigation in purpose in risk

If you are a non-medical registrant who is eligible for Continual Professional Development (CPD) funding this course will account as part of your annual allowance for CPD funding.
