Brief overview:

This is a fantastic course to attend for those senior trainees requiring more theoretical rational behind teaching before applying for consultant jobs or others wishing to gain evidence for the CESR – improving your teaching skills and adding to the e portfolio and CV.  This is also ideal for trainees wishing generally to improve teaching skills or develop an interest in education.  Consultants may also find this a useful refresher.

Key Learning Outcomes:

Small group teaching

In this session we will cover the rationale behind small group teaching and explore some worked examples.

Large group teaching

In this session we will cover the rationale behind large group teaching and explore ways of making it more effective.

This is a bronze level course open to Trainees, Trust, Specialty/SAS Doctors and Consultants new to education or wish to update.
