Course overview:

This one-day conference is focused on maximising quality of life for people with Motor Neurone Disease. We’ll explore:

  • The background to MND and new developments in care and management
  • Experience of living with MND from the views of patients and carers
  • The contribution of psychological approaches, technology and symptom management to quality of life
  • Tips and reflections to help everyone attending to feel more confident

Topics include:

  • Management of respiratory change
  • Withdrawal of respiratory interventions
  • Managing complex or difficult symptoms
  • Shared decision making and supporting patient choice
  • Supporting and maintaining independence

Registration is free of charge and we welcome applications from all healthcare professionals and clinicians involved in the care of patients with Motor Neurone Disease.
