A workshop for senior clinicians – Consultants, SAS doctors, Senior trainees and Nurse consultants

Brief overview:

The session will use a filmed simulation of a person with COPD and will consider:

  • opportunities and barriers to conversations about deterioration
  • legal and ethical decision making
  • managing conflicting views
  • alongside dying: the personal challenge for clinicians

The workshop will allow discussion around common issues faced in clinical practice, supporting confidence and robust practice.

Senior clinicians who regularly make decisions around CPR – Consultants, Senior trainees and Nurse consultants
