Refresh the knowledge necessary for effective treatment and stabilisation of children with life threatening emergencies along with practicing the practical procedures necessary for effective management of childhood emergencies.
10 hours online pre-course learning (VLE) and a one day face to face course.
Candidates must have completed an APLS course before and be no more than 6 months out of date. Those who have a certificate which expired more than 6 months ago should undertake the full APLS course.
Recertification of current APLS is through the Advanced Life Support Group (ALSG).
