Course Overview

This course is designed to help develop skills and knowledge in preparing for your annual staff appraisal. Topics include how to plan, prepare and get the most from your appraisal conversation.

Learning Objectives

  • Comprehend the importance of the appraisal process
  • Be able to prepare for an effective appraisal
  • Understand the importance of wellbeing how to have a wellbeing conversation with your manager/Team leader
  • How to set individual SMART objectives
  • Identify sources of support to guide our development and progression

Target audience:

South Tees NHS trust staff (Agenda for change)

If you are a non-medical registrant who is eligible for Continual Professional Development (CPD) funding this course will account as part of your annual allowance for CPD funding.
