This basic life support course equips learners with the skills and knowledge to act in an emergency, providing the casualty with critical life-saving assistance until support arrives.

- Adult Basic Life Support
- Paediatric Basic Life Support
- CPR and AED
- Choking algorithms
- Anaphylaxis algorithm

This course is open to anyone interested in basic life support, including the general public and health and social care workers.

Teresa Pounder is our Education Lead for the Health and Social Care Academy and delivers our Basic Life Support Course training. Previously, Tereasa was a lecturer in Durham and a qualified podiatrist.
