Brief Overview:

Our aim is to help raise awareness around the impact of civility and incivility on people, teams, and the organisational culture and how that relates to patient outcomes. It is based on the National ‘Civility Saves Lives’ campaign.

This bitesize session is designed to encourage reflection and offers different perspectives on how to manage ourselves and our reactions to challenging situations in the workplace. We will be exploring how civility and kindness can be embedded in our work culture to improve our working environments collectively. These sessions are facilitated by a clinical staff member, up to consultant level.

Key Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand different perspectives on challenging situations in relation to our responses
  • Recognise the impact of behaviours on others in the workplace

Target Audience:

This course is open to all South Tees staff from any area, clinical teams may benefit from attending the session together.

This training is CPD accredited, and 2 CPD points will be awarded upon attendance of this session.

Upon completion of this course a certificate will be available for you to download from your account along with any other post course information.
