Course overview:
The Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Emergency Skills Course aims to provide doctors with basic practical skills to deal with the initial management of ENT emergencies.
ENT skills covered in the session include:
Nasal packing, drainage of quinsy and flexible nasoendoscope
Key Learning Outcomes:
This practical session offers candidates vital “hands on” practice using task trainers and is facilitated by doctors who specialise ENT.
Target Audience:
The course is suitable for doctors in all areas however Foundation year 1 and 2 doctors, CT in general surgery and A&E doctors will find this session beneficial. Doctors working at hospital sites where there aren’t any ENT specialists on site, would also find this course of huge benefit. The session is offered on a “first come, first served” basis.
