Course Overview:

The “An Introduction to Human Factors and Non-Technical Skills” lecture is the first of two lectures that explore the nature of Human Factors within the health industry. This first two-hour interactive lecture focuses on the basics of Human Factors and an insight into the 6 non-technical skills. Attendees will come away with an enhanced understanding and should be able to put the new learning into practice.

Learning Ojectives:

  • Enhance basic understanding of Human Factors
  • Discuss non-technical skills
  • Apply the principles of Human Factors to working practices

Target Audience:

All staff – medical and non-medical. No prior Human Factors training required.
