Course Overview:
Have you ever tried to make a cup of tea in someone else’s house and found it difficult?
This session introduces you to Human Factors and non-technical skills, and how you can use these to improve your approach to your job and interactions with colleagues. This session is open to anyone in the Trust and there are no pre-course requirements. These sessions are facilitated by a clinical staff member, up to consultant level.
Learning Ojectives:
- Introduce the concept of Human factors
- Introduce the concept of Non-Technical Skills
- Think about how we can use Human Factors and Non-Technical Skills in our own areas
Target Audience:
All staff- medical and non-medical. No prior Human Factors training required.

If you are a non-medical registrant, who is eligible for Continual Professional Development (CPD) funding, this course will account as part of your annual allowance for CPD funding.
