Course overview
Neurodiversity is a natural part of human variation. However, neurodivergent individuals may experience barriers within workplaces, education, healthcare and wider society when environments, systems and ways of working are not designed with different needs and experiences in mind.
This interactive three-hour course provides an introduction to neurodiversity and supports participants to develop greater understanding, confidence and awareness. Through discussion, reflection and practical activities, participants will explore neurodivergent experiences, challenge assumptions and consider how they can contribute to more inclusive and supportive environments.
The course takes a strengths-based and person-centred approach, recognising that neurodivergence is experienced differently by every individual. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on their own practice and identify practical actions that can support inclusion within their roles and organisations.
