Course Overview:

The “Civility – Improving Team Communication” session, aims to create a respectful and collaborative workplace culture by increasing awareness of Civility and it’s impact on team dynamics. Participants will engage in discussions around the definitions and consequences of In-Civility, as well as the positive effects of maintaining a civil environment on morale and productivity.

Through the exploration of current evidence supporting the importance of Civility in the workplace, attendees will gain insights into how respectful interactions contribute to better communication, enhanced teamwork and improved patient outcomes. The session will also introduce practical tools and strategies that can be utilised to promote Civility within teams; including techniques for effective communication, feedback and active listening.
