Course overview:

A half-day simulation course that will support you to develop a range of clinical and practical skills. This simulation course will allow you to practice on a mannequin and task trainers in a safe environment to enhance your confidence and competence.

Key Learning Outcomes:

The following practical skills are covered in the course:

• Lumbar puncture procedure and management

• Insertion of Chest drains and management of troubleshooting problems associated with chest drains

• Management of Paracentesis for ascites

• Midline insertion/jugular/femoral veins /subclavical vein access

Target Audience:

This course is aimed at IMG and LED Doctors in training or who are preparing to develop their advanced clinical practice knowledge and skills within their field of Clinical Practice.
