Brief overview:

Attending this half day workshop will help you to consider the concept and impact of Moral Injury within your workplace and in your own role. You will have the opportunity to share discussions and reflections with colleagues to deepen understanding about what Morl Injury is and its impact on you and your colleagues.

Learning outcomes

Colleagues attending the sessions will be able to:

  • Describe what Moral Injury Is and how they have been personally affected by it
  • Explain how the Psychological Contract contributes to Moral Injury
  • Consider the signs of Moral Injury in self and others
  • Identify coping mechanisms to manage and heal from Moral Injury
  • Explore strategies to support colleagues
  • Recognise opportunities to prevent Moral Injury from occurring

The session is aimed at anyone who works in critical care, especially in a leadership role.
