Course Overview:
To be confident holding real conversations through planning and preparation, reflecting on the real conversations we have at work on a daily basis; to understand emotions and the impact of the conversation, developing skills and knowledge to hold it to an effective outcome.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify what a real conversation looks like
- Consider how to prepare for an effective conversation
- Identify and apply personal qualities and recognise emotions when communicating
- How to use appropriate language and phrases to ensure a productive conversation
- How to close a conversation and move forward
- The importance of valuing your wellbeing

If you are a non-medical registrant who is eligible for Continual Professional Development (CPD) funding this course will account as part of your annual allowance for CPD funding.
