Overview:
Run by experienced Rheumatologist Registrars and Consultants, this interactive session is designed to equip trainees and allied health professionals with practical skills and clinical understanding of common intra-articular joint injections. Participants will gain hands-on experience in a safe simulation environment and develop confidence in managing joint-related clinical scenarios.
Learning outcomes:
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Understand the indications and contraindications for intra-articular joint injections.
- Safely and competently perform common joint injections within a simulation setting.
- Recognise the key elements of post-procedure care following intra-articular injections.
