The NHS is changing and the needs of our partners and the people they care for reflect this. We believe that through working together, combining our skills, experience and resources, we can work towards delivering better patient care; united with the common goal of putting patients at the heart of our health service. As well as being a leading supplier of medicines to the NHS, Pfizer is committed to working with our partners from across the NHS, as well as academia and other healthcare organisations, to improve the delivery of healthcare and achieve the best health outcomes for people in the UK. We develop effective NHS & Industry working in line with the Association of British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) guidance.

The Business Skills Workshops (BSW) programme is a series of educational modules that has been developed by Pfizer to support individuals and organisations within the NHS to enhance their knowledge and skills related to service improvement.

This programme consists of eight workshops, which are free to the NHS and can be delivered either as half day workshops, or separate modules, in a virtual or face to face setting. The modules will be delivered by a Pfizer Healthcare Partnership Manager (HPM) or Clinical Effectiveness Consultant (CEC) who understand your local NHS environment, whilst also having knowledge and experience of using these business skills in a commercial environment.

All the Business Skills Workshops are CPD approved. Pfizer Healthcare Partnership Managers and CECs are the subject matter experts and are trained to facilitate BSW sessions and annual refreshers take place for each workshop and workshop materials are reviewed every 2 years.
