Brief Overview:
Working in partnership with Pro-Noctis we’re able to offer a 2 day ‘Doctor as Coach’ programme based on the accredited ILM 7 Certificate for Executive and Senior Level Coaches and Mentors. This programme is specifically designed to enable doctors to have even more effective conversations with both patients and their colleagues. Creating autonomy and self-reliance.
Over the 2 days the candidates will be introduced to the principles of coaching. These principles will also be aligned to the ILM 7 and may be used as Accredited Prior Learning for a Pro-Noctis ILM Level 7 in Effective Coaching and Mentoring.
Topics covered will include:
- An introduction to Coaching and Mentoring in leadership context, with associated fundamentals
- Language and questioning techniques including frames, re-frames and beliefs
- Goals, ethics and behavioural coaching including coaching for performance.
Target audience:
This teaching is for all grades of doctors.
