Brief overview:
Due to the recent changes across the NHS, we have experienced a surge in asks to support on process mapping, system changes and alterations to patient journeys to improve services, reduce waste and design new standardised practices.
To build employee skills, knowledge and confidence within improvements work we are introducing a new support workshop. Where teams/departments are to bring mapping work to be completed to the workshop where they will receive support, guidance and coaching around what it is they are trying to achieve. As well as providing a targeted space to receive support on their departments mapping initiatives.
We aim to empower teams to produce their own maps to steer change, analyse waste and redesign ways of working. Helping to drive ownership and develop our staffs in house skills over the future.
The only ask is that “You bring something to map/assess/develop with you”.
Please ensure that you have all the necessary people involved in the process to enable you to complete the work.
Mapping workshops are due to run every 4-6 weeks to help/support change initiatives where able. The workshop will also allow you chance to interact with any other teams undertaking the same work. Which will help you to share ideas as you go.
