Course overview:
This one-day course is aimed at all health care professionals looking to gain a foundation in Simulation Based Education (SBE) and subsequently deliver clinical simulation sessions or courses. The focus of the course will be on designing , constructing, delivering and debriefing SBE scenarios.
Topics include:
- Simulation educational theory
- Scenario development / design workshop
- Introduction to the technology (Immersive, SMOTS)
- Debriefing and human factors
- Practical application
