Brief overview
We invite you to take part in our discussion focusing on anti racism.
We would like to explore and gain insight from colleagues to develop our anti racism framework and to really understand what racism is and the impact it has.
- We will define key concepts such as systemic racism, privilege, equity.
- We will look at structural and historic factors that perpetuate racism in the workplace and in our community.
- We will hear from colleagues about their lived experiences, and we will also consider effective active allyship and speaking up against racism in a safe and constructive way.
We will ask for commitment and active engagement and identify with you what we need to do to advocate for change so diversity is valued and we can commit to an anti-racism charter through engagement, education and collaboration.
Who should attend?
