Brief overview:
This one day workshop will examine the TODAY model for change, and participants will explore the components of TODAY applied to their own work areas. This introduction to the framework is designed to help participants think about their role and impact and how they can influence both care and the workplace for the better. It is not designed to replace full change agent development.

Prof Brian Dolan, OBE, FFNMRCSI, FRSA, MSc(Oxon), MSc(Nurs), RMN, RGN
Brian has a 30+ year career in nursing and healthcare focusing on system redesign, culture change and patient flow. He is the originator of #EndPJparalysis and the last 1000 days social movements, which in the last few years have resulted in multiple international mobility challenges and Global Deconditioning Summits. Brian has developed what he has learned from creating a social movement that values patients’ time as the most important currency in health and social care into practical everyday leadership strategies for health and care professionals. With Professor Lynda Holt, Brian is also the co-creator of the TODAY model for change, author of numerous nursing leadership and emergency care books and a
sought after speaker. He was awarded an OBE in 2019 by HM the Queen ‘For services to nursing and to emergency care’.
