Overview

The topic of this weeks Thursday multidisciplinary teaching will be delivered by nurse Megan Wrightson who will be speaking on the topic ‘Transfusion Matters’.

Transfusion Matters: A session covering essential transfusion basics and the latest updates to keep your practice safe. Get up to speed on recent guidelines, best practices and common pitfalls. An opportunity to improve general knowledge and ensure confidence in managing transfusions. Topics include Current Blood Stocks Status, TACO- Transfusion Associated Circulatory Overload and Major Haemorrhage.

Target Audience

This session is available to all members of South Tees.
