Cancelling a course place
We understand that your circumstances can change. However, to safeguard our public funds and manage costs, we have a strict cancellation policy. Any places that are not filled due to cancellations or no-shows still incur costs for us, for example, venues, teaching materials, and facilitator fees.
Your responsibility
- When you book a free or paid event, you agree to this cancellation policy.
- It is your responsibility to cancel or reschedule your booking through your account.
- Cancellations must be made within the required notice period to avoid fees.

Special circumstances
- If you need to cancel due to illness or other extenuating circumstances, you will not be charged a fee, but we may ask for evidence.
- If a course has multiple sessions and you miss one, you may be charged a fee to complete it later.
- You will receive an invoice for any fees owed.
What if we cancel a course?
- If we cancel or change a course date, you will be offered a full refund if applicable.
- We are not responsible for other costs you may have, such as travel or accommodation. You may want to consider insurance for such expenses.
- We may cancel your place with notice if you are unsuitable for the course, your conduct is unprofessional, you fail to attend satisfactorily, or you do not complete the mandatory pre-course work.
- Very occasionally, we may need to make changes to a course’s schedule or teachers without advance notice.
