The Leadership, Improvement and Safety Academy, within STRIVE, is delighted to offer a development programme designed for senior medics in the Trust. The programme comprises a series of half day training and development sessions, cohorting senior medics to support networks of practice across disciplines and service lines while also ensuring opportunities for networking and building relationships to strengthen teamwork and collaboration
The programme approach recognises the links between leadership, team dynamics and usable improvement methodologies in creating an improvement culture – it is essential to consider all of these elements to give the best chance of success. The structure offers a combination of leadership and practical management skills training designed to be able to flex according to the specific needs of the cohort. Please note all sessions will run from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.

Key Learning Outcomes:
This course aims to provide learners with the knowledge, skills, understanding and confidence to perform effectively as leaders at an executive and senior level in an organisation and/or independently.
