Brief overview:

Small group teaching – 45-60 minutes
In this session we will cover the rationale behind small group teaching and explore some worked examples.


Large group teaching – 45 minutes
In this session we will cover the rationale behind large group teaching and explore ways of making it more effective.

Key learning outcomes:

  • To be able to discuss the rationale behind small and large group teaching
  • To be able to state the key principles for small and large group teaching
  • To improve awareness of small and large group teaching techniques
  • To be able to state some techniques on small and large group teaching

Target audience:

This is a bronze level course open to Trainees, Trust, Specialty/SAS Doctors and Consultants new to education or who wish to update.
